Our Mission at Project MarkeTier
The COVID-19 crisis has changed the very world we live in. Parents are losing their jobs, nurses are being forced to choose between who lives and dies, and small businesses are being forced to close. During these unprecedented times, it’s important to remember what brought light to our lives before this pandemic, small businesses. Whether it be the local coffee shop, daycare, or even tutoring service, small businesses play an integral role in the identity of a community. According to CNBC, “3.5 million small businesses [could] close permanently in the next two months, and 7.5 million over the next five months, according to Main Street America” (Iacurci 2020). Luckily, the Small Business Administration, as well as other government subsidies, are providing small businesses with loans to stay afloat during this pandemic. However, loans might not be enough to preserve the cultural landscape small businesses provide to America.
Post COVID-19 is going to be a changed society and it is crucial to stand in solidarity during this difficult time, and it is vital to remember this crisis will have long-lasting impacts that must be addressed, starting at the community level. The main problem small businesses will face in the coming months with the country reopening is bringing in customers in a world of lowered demand for goods.

Therefore our mission at Project MarkeTier is to expand the social media presence of local businesses hurt by COVID-19 to ensure a quick rebound in consumer demand after the pandemic subdues. As a social media managerial team we will, at no expense, work to retain and expand your consumer base.
